What a Queer Pride Mini Session Looks Like

Let’s be real - queer mini sessions? They’re just mini sessions, but with the same intentional respect and care I bring to every shoot I do.

Whether you’re solo, partnered, chosen family, or a whole friend group, I’m showing up with the same energy: a deep commitment to making sure you feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated in front of the camera. I always take the time to ask what everyone prefers to be called; whether it’s names, titles, or pronouns. Since, I believe your identity should be respected and celebrated exactly as it is. Mini sessions are short and sweet; 10 minutes, but don't worry about the time! The shorter time frame doesn’t mean you’ll walk away with fewer quality photos. These sessions are fast-paced, but I’m constantly talking with you, guiding you gently, and helping you flow naturally from one pose to the next. It’s a collaborative rhythm that keeps things light, affirming, and fun.

These mini sessions during Park Circle pride week are extra special since the session price will be donated 100% back to We Are Family! These photos are such a fun way to celebrate pride In the middle of the week and then join me at queer prom just a few days later so we can keep the pride party going!

If we’re photographing a group or family, I make sure every combination gets some love because every relationship matters. Nobody gets left out, and everyone has their moment to shine.

And if someone in your crew isn't super into having their photo taken, that’s another reason mini sessions are so great! Instead of an hour of camera time, we keep it efficient and low-pressure. Just enough time to capture your essence, without it becoming a whole production.
