Why being respectful and getting consent matters to me at every session

Making sure that everyone feels comfortable during a photo session is something that matters so much to me as a business owner. I have made it a cornerstone of my customer experience and there are so many small ways I can make that happen during a session. First, asking what everyone prefers to be called and making sure they're comfortable with my using their familial nicknames ( "Is it okay if I call you Papa during your photos to?"). Secondly, I ask permission before I touch anyone. They're small things but they make a big difference in making sure everyone is comfortable and feels respected! ( and what a small thing to offer my clients!)
