NEWBORN
The tiniest moments you’ll miss before you realize they’re gone.
Welcoming a new baby is equal parts joy, overwhelm, excitement, and exhaustion.
Suddenly, everyone has questions. Opinions. Advice you didn’t ask for.
And yet — inside your home — something entirely different happens.
A quiet. A softness. A newborn bubble that feels calm, tender, and fleeting all at once.
That’s what newborn sessions are about.
Not just tiny fingers and sleepy faces (though we’ll absolutely capture those), but the way your family settles around this new life. The way time slows. The way love fills the space in a way that’s hard to explain — and impossible to recreate later.
You take care of the baby,
I’ll take care of everything else.

So Small. So New.
So Worth Remembering
Those early days are a blur of feeding schedules, tiny sounds, and learning each other in real time. It’s normal to feel like you’re just trying to keep up — not pausing to document it all. Newborn photos aren’t about perfection. They’re about remembering what this season felt like when the details start to fade.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a newborn session like? Newborn sessions are slow, gentle, and completely baby-led. We’ll photograph your family in the comfort of your home, using natural light and moving through the session at whatever pace your baby needs. There’s no pressure to perform or “get it right” — the goal is to document this quiet, fleeting chapter exactly as it is.
Do we need to prepare our home or stick to a schedule? No preparation or strict schedule is required. Once I arrive, I’ll take a quick look around your home and choose the spaces with the best light — whether that’s a bedroom, living room, nursery, or kitchen. I’ll help make small adjustments if needed so you can focus on caring for your baby. Feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and breaks are all expected and welcomed.
What if my baby is awake, fussy, or doesn’t sleep? That’s completely okay — and very normal. If your baby sleeps, we’ll capture those peaceful moments. If they’re awake, we’ll photograph those early expressions and eye contact that change so quickly. If they need to eat, be held, or move, we follow their lead. The session adapts to your baby, not the other way around.
What should we wear, and what will be photographed? You’ll receive simple guidance on what to wear, but there’s no need to overthink it. Neutral, comfortable clothing works beautifully, and babies photograph best in a simple solid onesie. During the session, we’ll capture baby on their own, baby with each parent, and everyone together — focusing on closeness, connection, and the sweetness of these early days.
