I just love a good party. Who doesn't? But I have a real strong love for first birthday's. Nothing is more bittersweet to a Mama's heart then their baby's first birthday. Suddenly the longest 365 days of your life seem like the quickest. You look at your babe and see all of the late nights, and endless bottles, and tears from you both and you see a toddler sitting in their place. It's overwhelming and amazing all at the same time. The only thing that can make the day more special, is to get to celebrate with your closest family and friends. These are the people who supported you during the last year, and will continue to do so for the next 18. They'll hug you, and laugh with you, and let you know what an amazing job you're doing. That birthday boy of yours is already such a remarkable kid.
