I love having the privilege of taking photos of so many amazing families. Often times those 45 minutes we are together feel like this magical time when your whole family is together, in coordinating clothes and have your phones tucked away while you focus on just being together. The photos arrive and your heart swells! The images are exactly what you had hoped for and will be perfect for your holiday cards. You download your favorite ( hard to choose) for your phone background immediately, share the link with your spouse and your best friend, and then promise yourself you'll get to printing everything eventually. Your photos go to live on your hard drive, forever. Just lonely computer files waiting for their time to be really loved. Trust me, I get it! Printing photos is frankly not the most important thing on the list of priorities, and frankly it's pretty close to the bottom. But also trust me when I say it is important.

The first thing we do when a family member passes is search through our photos with them, remembering the happy moments and savoring the physical proof we have of the love we shared in those printed photos. Heck, even the scientists agree with me:

I've just printed all of our updated family images and memories from our family vacation and events shared with my girls and their besties.
